He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Eugene "Pat" Jett and Mary Harris Jett; his wife Linda Brock Jett; his children, Michelle Jett, Dawn Jett Campbell (David), Daniel Jett (April), Rodney Jackson, Karo Jackson (Kim) and Kim Jackson; and his sister Eugenia Strickland. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
