He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Balch and Hazel Sutton Balch; and his siblings, David Balch and Sandra Ward. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ann Balch; and his daughter Valerie Rene Balch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
