She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Franklin Johnson, Sr. and Merle Hanes Johnson; her husband Robert Emmett Maddox; and her grandson Chase Maddox. She is survived by: her sons, Ken Maddox (Kelly) of Griffin, Craig Maddox of Rex and Stephen Maddox (Ashley) of Locust Grove; her grandchildren, Makenzie Maddox, Blaise Maddox, Hayden Maddox and Alex Maddox; her great grandchildren, Bradin and Bodie Maddox; and her siblings, Joan Canady of Douglasville, Joseph Johnson, Jr. (Judy) of Fayetteville and Jennifer Cravey (Don) of Stockbridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
