He was predeceased by: his parents, James Erwin Ross Sr. and Charlotte Green Young; and his sibling Jewell Green Sherell. He is survived by: his son Joshua Ross of Oklahoma; and his siblings, Carolyn Preston Taylor of Newnan, Robert Green (Trisha) of Tacoma and George Green (Paula) of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
