It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Hamlin (Jackson, Georgia), born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Maddox and Elizabeth Smith Maddox; her husband Benjamin Fredrick Hamlin; her brother Marlon "Bro" Maddox; and her pet Bo.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Hamlin; her son-in-law David Honea; and her brothers, Ludy Maddox and Phil Maddox. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
