She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann McDaniel and Willie Guy Sibley; her husband José Ernesto Abeyta; her brother James Thomas Sibley; and her grandchildren, Dustin Lamar Tolbert and Megan Amanda Barr.
She is survived by: her children, Theresé Blease, Trini Abeyta, Mackie Rhodes, Karen Barbour, Kathy Darden, Doreen Rowe and Michelle Harmon; her nephew Jimmy Sibley; and her brothers, Harold Sibley, Marvin Sibley and Jerry McDaniel. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
