She was predeceased by: her father George Standridge; and her husband Charles Ervie Akins. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Akins of Jonesboro, Charles L. Akins (Donna) of Toccoa and Susan Denese Akins (Fielder) of Florida; and her sister Lucille Martin. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
