It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Era Geraldine Pressley Wright of Jackson, Georgia, born in Norcross, Georgia, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Era Pressley and Hoke Pressley; her sister Joyce; her brothers-in-law, Don Chewning, Frank Mims and Bill Wright; and her nephew Jim Mims.
She is survived by: her husband Ben Wright; her children, Dan Wright (Laurie) of Dalton and Gerri Renee Wright of McDonough; her grandchildren, Laura Kate Wright, Thomas Wright, Daniel Wright, Correll Wright and Benjamin Wright; her sisters, Jean Mims and Judy Hauck (Jim); her sister-in-law Mary Wright; and her nieces and nephews, Rev. Richard Chewning (Susan), John Wright (Nelda), Jeff Wright (Kelly), Joan Bourdon (Roger) and Janice LaFramboise (Joe).
Due to the current pandemic, a graveside service will be held with family members only.
