It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Carlton Spencer (Jackson, Georgia), who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Abraham George "A. G."; his daughter Peggy Joyce Spencer; and his siblings, Wendell "Doc" Spencer, Julia Frances Goodface, Hueace Etheridge and Mary Lois Singley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Phillips Spencer; his daughter Bonnie; his son-in-law Wayne Kitchens; his grandchildren, William Bailey Harold III and Emory Jason Bailey; and his sisters, Daftner Spencer Fincher and Joan Barclay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
