She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Major Nicholson and Maggie Kendrick Nicholson; her husband Rufus Alfred "Tuck" Vaughn; and her brother Keith Nicholson. She is survived by: her daughter Kaye; her son-in-law Chester; her grandsons, Ronnie Vaughn and Corey (Rachel Grant); and her great grandchildren, Mason and Charlotte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
