He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Heaton and Betty Marlowe Heaton; and his brother Kenneth Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Burgner Heaton of Jackson; his sons, Shane Heaton of Gainsville, GA and Brandon Heaton of Barnesville; his sisters, Linda Murphy of Thomaston and Darlene Dickerson of Thomaston; and his grandchildren, Dylan Tootle (Emily), Dakota Heaton, Caitlin Tootle and Makayla Jones. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
