He was predeceased by: his father William Thomas Sheffield. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Maxine Weaver Sheffield; his children, Donald Allan Sheffield, Lyle Benjamin Sheffield, Chaunte Dannielle and Jason Dodson; his grandchildren, Jason Dodson Jr., Madison McKay Sheffield and Adalynn Dodson; and his siblings, Tommy Lee Sheffield and Susan Marie Deese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
