He was predeceased by: his parents, Kernel Toney and Ester Lou Gosdin; and his siblings, Jane Smith, Juanita Anderson, Gervis Gosdin, Carol Stiles, Toney Gosdin and Melody Gosdin.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Brand Gosdin; his children, Tammy Thompson (Dow) of Fairburn, GA, Wendy Goettig (Ron) of Hiawassee, GA, Vickie Wilson (Alan) of Buford, GA and Randy Gosdin (Sonja) of Jackson, GA; his grandchildren, Kris Goettig (Lauren), Beth Cahoon (Mike), Jonathon Brand (Jessica), Jacob Brand, Abbie Traylor, Courtney Meeler (Gavin), William Gosdin, Byron Wilson, Ethan Maddox, Emily Gosdin, Graeson Maddox and Garrett Wilson; his great grandchildren, Renee Brand, Hazel Cahoon and Norah Cahoon; and his sisters, Lynne Johnson of LaGrange and Diane Turner of LaGrange.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association or to an assisted living center of one's choice in his memory.
