He was predeceased by: his parents, Redic Arrington Ayres and Edna Ellen Pope Ayres; his son Brian Ayres; and his grandson Justin Perry. He is survived by: his wife Margot Ayres; his children, Chuck Jr., Stephanie Ayres and Dina Ayres Sawyer; and his sisters, Suzanne Zuchowski and Deborah Moreno. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
