He is survived by: his wife Celida Mims Spencer; his daughters, Robin Spencer Holt (Mike) of Duluth and Erin Spencer Yocom (Andy) of Peachtree City; his brother Mike Spencer (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Cameron Holt, Kendall Holt, Spencer Yocom and Morgan Yocom.
