With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Sue Hoover of Jackson, Georgia, born in Fort Worth, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 75. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carol Sue leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Carol Sue may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband Ben Hoover; her children, Alex (Corey Nall) and Allisa (Brian Britt); and her siblings, Maxey J. Sumlin, Ellen and Mike Carson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233).
