It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ledford of Jackson, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Carol may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband R. W. "Junior" Ledford; and her brother Ronnie George. She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Kim Daniel), Terry Daniel and Angie (Bryan Ledford); her sister Linda; her brother-in-law Donald Carter; and her brother David George. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Cross Baptist Church Cemetery (646 Sigman Rd NW, Conyers, GA 30012).
