It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Bentley Harris of Jackson, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Harris and Willene Harris. He is survived by: his wife Rosana; his children, Daylin Baker (Todd), DeAnne Ramsey (Jamie), Jimmy Ussery, Johnny Ussery (Kristi), Jack Ussery, Gerald Mulkey and Jason Ussery; and his siblings, Andy Harris (Regina) and Angie Maxwell (Ronald). He is also survived by several grandchildren, heart-related grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A committal service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
