Melinda Faye Kent Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Faye Kent of Ivey, Georgia, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman Kent and Lawanna Faye Perkins Kent; and her fiancé Jason Searcy. She is survived by: her children, James Tyler Cobb, Dillion Colby Roberts and Kaitlyn Shyanne Roberts; her grandchildren, Madison Nicole Roberts, Emma Grace Roberts, Blayden Lee Hunt, Jaxon Toma Hunt, James Matthew Cobb and Hunter Cobb; and her siblings, Jeffery Herndon (Tami), Lakeitha Bruner and Ivalisa Hood-Bryant. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 132 Presley Pl, Norman Park, GA 31771.
