He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Langston and Leroy Bennett; his daughter Lara Bennett; his brother Danny Bennett; and his parents-in-law, Helen and Doc Daniels.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bennett; his son Stephen C. Bennett (Stacy Larson); his granddaughters, Rebecca Kate Bennett and Katie Lynne Bennett; and his siblings, Nancy Wiseman, Lynn Thomas and Randy Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
