He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mattie Lou Dover Wilson; his children, David, Cris Wilson of Sylvester, Vic, Lesa Wilson of Mansfield, Jon Wilson of Irwinville, Alex Wilson of Irwinville, Dale Wilson of Irwin County, Kay, Phil Mitchell of Wilcox County, Chris and Christa Wilson of Chula; and his siblings, Joy W. McDaniel of Canton, William "Bill" Wilson of San Antonio, Larry Wilson of Athens and Judy Holyoak of Canton. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
