It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol E Clayton (Irwinton, Georgia), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Morgan Miles Eady, Jr. and Essie Irene Daniels Eady; her husband Dr. Edward C. "Sonny" Clayton, III; her children, Cliff Clayton of Macon, Chris Clayton (Vicki) of Irwinton and Cristen Carter (Steve) of Milledgeville; her siblings, Angela Vinson (Billy) of McIntyre and Charles Eady (Bet) of Gordon; her grandchildren, Melanie Thigpen (Brad), McKenzie "Mac" Clayton (Amanda), Harris Clayton (Natalie), Morgan Clayton (Mallory), Andrew Carter, David Carter, Victoria Clayton and Michael Clayton; and her great grandchildren, Amerson Thigpen, Coleman Thigpen, Scarlett Clayton and Bennett Clayton.
