It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Avys D. Billue Sr. (Irwinton, Georgia), who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Billue and Emma Billue; and his daughter Jamie Patricia Billue. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Theobold, Haley Billue Holley (Eddie) and Avys Darrell Billue, Jr. (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Julia Kimsey, Jeb Kimsey, Ella Theobold, William Billue (Klohe) and Jonathan Billue.

“Prayers going out to Avys' family.. He was a dear friend and will miss him. Oh, the stories he could tell of our many fishing and hunting trips. Remember when he rode with me and more than a thousand others on BRAG (Bike Ride Across Georgia), and in almost ever town we rode through he would see people he knew. In this journey through life we meet many individuals, a few stand out, Avys was and is at the top. It was indeed a pleasure and an honor to know him and be friends. Gil Alligood”
