He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Hilton and Ruth Williams Lane; and his siblings, Joy Dancer, Tonya Lane and Hilton Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Lane; his children, Timothy Wells (Elizabeth), Dawn Kelley (Tony) and Bryan Wells; his grandchildren, Erika Kennedy, Jessica Griffin (Bobby), LeAndra Culverson (Cole), Caitlin Summer (Nathan), Peyton Wells, Griffin Wells, Spencer Wells and Patrick Wells; his great grandchildren, Grady Kennedy, Leo Summer and Amelia Summer; and his siblings, Larry Lane, Brenda Cowart (Wayne), Stanley Lane and Theresa Alexander (Mark).
