He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lanier Hardy and Doris Jones Hardy Minaker; his stepfather George S. Minaker; and his brothers, Wendell L. Hardy and Jerry J. Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Jane Robinson Hardy; his siblings, Johnny Hardy (Gayle) of St. Petersburg, FL and Ellen Siegrist (Daniel) of Pineallas Park, FL; his mother-in-law Sara Robinson of Iron City, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Teston (Billy) of Jesup and Les Robinson of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
