He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jones and Nancy Atkinson Jones; his brothers, Robert Jones and Bill Jones; and his stepson Daron Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Spooner of Donalsonville, GA and Paige Brookins (Bob) of Greenville, SC; his stepchildren, Tracey Kirkland (Paul) of Donalsonville, GA and Ricky Alday (Gina) of Donalsonville, GA; his siblings, Charles Jones (Sandra) of Donalsonville, GA and Debra Jones Kraft of Donalsonville, GA; his sister-in-law Dorothy Jones of Prattville, AL.; and his grandchildren, Sammy Alday, Kellee Alday, Sydney Kirkland, Gracie Kirkland, Cody Spooner, Bryson Chance, Katie Brookins and Thomas Brookins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
