It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce E. Hodges of Iron City, Georgia, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Singletary and Pearl Hutcherson Singletary; her husband William H. Hodges; and her siblings, Morris Singletary and Nina Carless.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, William "Bill" Hodges and Cheryl Tabor. She is also survived by her son, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
