He was predeceased by: his mother Nettie Gibson Youmans; his wife Lila Mae Spooner Youmans; and his siblings, Gus Youmans, Rob Youmans, Gip Youmans, Pattie Howard and Louise Towner.

He is survived by: his children, Gus Youmans (Lisa) of Hamilton, GA, Susan Hodges (Harris) of Oxford, GA, Jody Youmans (Teresa) of Thomasville, GA, Bob Youmans (Mary) of Iron City, GA and Judy Trulock of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Laura Youmans, Leigh Page, Jess Hodges, Leah Johnson, Daniel Hodges, Nathan Youmans, Maggie Youmans, Wesley Youmans, William Youmans, Warren Youmans, Justin Trulock and Allison Trulock; and his great grandchildren, Lily Hodges, Harper Hodges, Spooner Johnson, Lila Johnson, James Page, Adelyn Page and Mac White. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“James william youmans, my dear first cousin,was from a generation that placed a higher value on work and dedication to family than material possessions.i treasure times spent at the egghouse where good food,family tales & wwii history was mixed with spiritual guidance and of course a well told southern joke. I admired bud for his business sense, common sense and wonderful sense of humor. He was a good cook just like his mother, one of my mother's 6 sisters. Bud brought joy to all. Alice pickett”
