He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Joel Greene and Eleanor Lane Greene; and his siblings, Leonora Ingram, Anne Dorrell, Helen Andress and Jim Greene.

He is survived by: his nephews, Ronnie Ingram, Alan Ingram, Wade Ingram, Lyle Seigler, Joel Greene, Lane Greene, Robert Ingram, Ashley Ingram, Brad Ingram, Luke Royal, Matt Royal, Dell Royal, James Dorrell and John Dorrell; his wife Geanette Greene of Iron City, GA; his sister Barbara G. Sawyer of San Antonio, TX; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Greene of Brinson, GA.
