With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Smith of Ideal, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elene Raburn Smith and Willard Curtis Smith; and his brother Gary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hobbs Smith; his daughters, Nicole Montgomery (Bill) and Aimee McCrary (Sam); his grandchildren, Morgan Leonard (Michael), Matthew Davis and Lilly Anne McCrary; and his brother Steve Smith (Judy).
