She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. Hobbs, Jr. and Lillian Inez Grant Hobbs; and her siblings, Patricia Hobbs Hortman, Marjorie English, Grover Hobbs III and Terry Hobbs.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Simmons of Ideal, Georgia; her children, Allison Simmons Green of Andersonville, William Todd Simmons (Robyn) of Ideal and Dana Simmons Harris (Chris) of Dahlonega, Georgia; her siblings, Shirley Jones of Greeneville, Larry Hobbs of Dacula, Bobby Hobbs of Andersonville, Louie Hobbs of Reynolds, Susan Tungate (Jim) of Oglethorpe, Joyce Smith of Reynolds and Cheryl Dorsey (Larry) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Tyler Simmons (Niki), Nick Simmons (Angel), Kaitlin Simmons, Tucker Harris, Jansen Harris and James Smith.
