It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leslie Kent Turner (Ideal, Georgia), who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Larry Lee Turner, Sr.; and his grandparents, Lester B. James, Curt, Rosa Mae James Bowling and Dolly Turner.
He is survived by: his mother Helen James Turner of Ideal; his grandchildren, Courtney (Chance Easom), Dylan (Ambry Layfield), Cody (Lexie Layfield) and Savannah (Garrett Benford); his great grandchildren, Bentley, Kloe, Brax Easom, Brantley, Oaklyn and Carter Layfield; his siblings, Lee, Cathy Turner of Ellaville and Lauren Turner of Bainbridge; his nieces, Alicia Turner of Columbus and Liana Turner of Richmond Hill; and his great-niece Chandler Enfinger of Richmond Hill. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date due to the Covid -19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Miona Geriatric and Dementia Center Resident Christmas Fund (201 Poplar Street, Ideal, GA 31041) or Phoebe Sumter Hospice (126 East Furlow Street, Americus, Ga 31709).
