She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Sibbet "L. S." Peterson and Marjorie Ethleen Tarrer Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Barfield; her children, Mike James Barfield (Sarelly) of Whitehouse, Chistopher Barfield of Ideal and Tara Barfield Melo (Rene) of Ideal, Georgia; her grandchildren, Andrew Barfield, Jared Barfield, Patrick Barfield, Gianna Barfield and Liam Barfield; her daughters, Faith Curtis and Mickey Wiggins; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase Curtis, Tyler Wright, Katelyn Curtis and Courtney Barrett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ideal City Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
