Jimmy Stokes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Stokes of Hull, Georgia, born in Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy Stokes to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanton Stokes and Ola Stokes; his wife Helen Hendricks Stokes; his sister Linda Stokes of Michigan; his children, Jimmy F Stokes, Jr. (Laurie) of Columbus, Georgia and Nancy Stokes Schick (Marcus) of Cumming, Georgia; his grandchildren, Will Stokes, Sr., Jessica Stokes Granados (Sebastian), Molly Stokes, Lisa Schick Barnhardt (Morgan), Trent Schick and Tyler McGill; and his great grandchildren, Will Stokes, Jr. and Vasco Granados. He was also cherished by husband of 60 years and a loving father and grandfather.

In an abundance of caution for the safety of others due to COVID-19, a graveside service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 for immediate family only at Union Baptist Church, Hull, Georgia with Rev. Ray Finger officiating.
