He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover L. Jones, Sr. and Pauline Bullock Jones; his wife Betty Lovern Jones; and his siblings, Weebie Ann Stamps, Warren Jackson Jones (Buddy) and Oscar Paul Jones (O. P.).
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Jones Adams (Greg) of Hull, Billy J. Jones (Melanie) of Athens and Suzanne Jones Brown (Ray) of Danielsville; and his grandchildren, Tyler Adams (Kelsi) of Bogart, Trey Adams (Kathleen) of Athens, Amber Williams (Jamie) of Charlotte, NC, Caleb Jones (Mallory) of Colbert and Kaylee Brown of Danielsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hull Baptist Church (39 Charlie Bolton Rd, Hull, GA 30646). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
