It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lona Alpert of Howard, Georgia, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jeffrey Alpert (Christina Krosche) of Princeton, NJ and Jill Alpert Miller (Randy); her granddaughter Gabrielle Raina Miller of Covington, GA; her husband Ira Alpert (Ike); her parents, Ruth and Barney; and her brother Bill. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
