He was predeceased by: his grandfather James Russell Gill; his cousin Cody Michener; and his niece Delta Turner. He is survived by: his parents, Lynda Thompson and Virgil Lee Hendry; his grandmother Jeannie Gill; his siblings, Zach Bearden and Ashley Hines; his children, Ridge and Molly; and his cousin Holly Bearden (Brandie Joy Dixon). He is also survived by siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
