He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ray; his daughter Cynthia Lynn Ray; his stepsons, James and Donald Ewell; his pet Princess; his children, Mike Ray of Hortense and Terri Ray of Hortense; his sisters, Janet Herman (Al) of Cary, Judi Carlyle of Zebulon and Tina Webb (Jack) of Cary; his stepchildren, Rhonda Ewell, Hope Rainey, Patty Privott and Ronald Ewell; his grandchildren, Colton Ray, Michaela Slover, Rayna Ahnberg, Jaici Ahnberg and Kyle Ahnberg; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Walker and Alexa Grant. He is also survived by step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
