He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mitchell and Beth Mitchell; his sister Joan Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Bashaw and Barbara Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Mitchell; his children, Jeffrey Mitchell (Stacy) and Kristin Mitchell of Duluth, GA; his grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Grant, Connor and Jackson; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Weiss, Christie Shunk (Joe), Joanie Makielski (Bill) and Chrissie Teske (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
