She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hobby Holmes and Mary Lou Murray Holmes; her husband Coleman Fred "Bud" Griffin; her daughter Janet Elaine Shoemaker; and her brother Arthur Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Edge (Ronald) of Winder, Dwight Griffin (Debbie) of Dahlonega, Ricky Griffin of Hoschton and Chris Griffin (Stephanie) of Hoschton; and her brothers, Dorsey Holmes (Fannie) of Hoschton and James Holmes of Statham.
