It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Edward Merkner of Hoschton, Georgia, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Merkner; and his daughter Lynda Merkner. He is survived by: his daughter Debra; his son-in-law Dave Miller of Buford, GA; his granddaughter Katie Miller of Buford, GA; his sister Janice; his brother-in-law John O'Neill of San Marcus, CA; his brother Rev. Charles; and his sister-in-law Susan Merkner. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Ron's memory to The Christ The Lord Lutheran Church, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
