She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. R. A. Timms and Viola Cleveland Timms; and her husband Howard Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Rudy Jones (Jackie) of Jefferson, Randy Jones of Talking Rock, GA and Rita Allen of Hoschton; her siblings, Frances Brock (Jim) of Gainesville, Betty Timms Capes of Jefferson, Jack Timms (Betty) of Gainesville and John Timms (Lynda) of Gainesville; and her grandchildren, Jason Baker (Lisa), Jenice Baker and Miranda McDowell. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville, GA 30504).
