She was predeceased by: her husband John Howard Lindsey; her children, David Lindsey, Patricia Lindsey Steadman Chorba and Phillip Edward Lindsey; her grandson Roy Matthew Steadman; her parent Lonnie Peck Smothers; her stepfather William Ezra Croley; and her siblings, Ralph Smothers, William Croley Jr, Hazel Smothers Brewer, Ernestine Smothers and Thelma Smothers.
She is survived by: her brother James Croley of Paducah; and her children, Janice Ann Lindsey Dikin, John Howard Lindsey, Jr. of Safety Harbor, Elizabeth Lindsey Hausman of Pewee Valley, Stephen Scott Lindsey of Dacula, Anna Sue Lindsey of Nashville and Sarah Lee Lindsey Camper of Hoschton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
