He is survived by: his wife Ashley Luther McIlwain of Hoschton; his son Walker Paine McIlwain; his parents, David McIlwain and Laurie Power McIlwain; his siblings, Kaley McIlwain, David Richard McIlwain, Jr., Adam McIlwain (Jacqueline) and John Jack McIlwain; and his parents-in-law, Kirk Alan and Pamela Ann Luther of Hoschton.
