He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Elijah Nix and Jessie Ward Nix; his grandson Johnathan Nix; and his sisters, Lorraine Nix and Blondean Gooch.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra G. Nix of Hoschton, GA.; his children, Hannah Helton (Ricky) of Hoschton, GA., Ladon Nix of Pendergrass, GA, Labron Nix (Anita) of Winder, GA, Donald Anthony Nix (Sabrina) of Gillsville, GA and Travis Dwayne Nix of Pendergrass, GA.; and his grandchildren, Trevor, Harley, Christopher, Jessie, Kari, Taylor, Elizabeth, Chase, Ariel, Christian and Ladonna. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Evans Memory Gardens (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
