He was predeceased by: his father James Edwin Burris Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Judith Burris of Hoschton, GA; his children, Jeffrey Burris (Dawn Burris) of Boynton Beach, FL and Julie Rossi (Mauro Rossi) of Watkinsville, GA; his half-sisters, Palma Fife of Philadelphia, PA and Flora Caranci of Philadelphia, PA; his siblings-in-law, Paul Shingleton (Debbie) of Sinking Springs, PA and Linda Henry (Herman) of Fountaintown, IN; and his grandchildren, Abigail Marie Burris of Dallas, TX and Jacob Mauro Rossi of Watkinsville, GA.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel (4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
