He was predeceased by: his mother Nannie Lee Crowe; his stepfather Raymond Crowe; his father Arnold Chalmers; his former wife Nancy Chalmers; his children, Mark E. Chalmers and Debbie C. Campbell; and his siblings, Billy Chalmers and Sue Crowe.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Chalmers; his children, David Chalmers of Braselton and Kim C. King (Kevin) of Lakemont; his son-in-law Phil Campbell; his brother Danny Crowe (Gayle); and his grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Charlene, Christopher, Mary, Jack, Denver, Nancy and David Jr.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made to the church building fund.
