He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Daisy Grace Martin. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Stovall Martin of Hoschton; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Nancy Martin of Athens; his daughter Melissa Martin of Watkinsville; his stepdaughter Laurie Chapman of Gainesville; his sister Gayle; his brother-in-law Will Patrick of Hoschton; his grandsons, Wyatt Martin and Carter Martin; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Bailey, Jordan McNeal, Preston Chapman and Tommy Chapman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
