We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2023, at the age of 77, George Bly of Hoschton, Georgia, born in Lewiston, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Frank Bly and Ezalee Audrey Gates Bly. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Snowe Bly of Hoschton, GA; his children, Candace Ferris (David) of Nokomis, FL, Heidi Peachey (Donald) of Sarasota, FL, Jodi Mann of Sarasota, FL, Darren Ellis of Litchfield, ME and Nathan Ellis (Caitlin) of Venice, FL; his grandchildren, James, Meghan, Matthew, Alex, Kyle, Austin, Sarah and Delaney; his siblings, Susan Grover (Charles) of Thomaston, ME, Kathy Roy (Randy) of Freeport, ME, Anne O'Mara (Jack) of Ipswich, MA and Jim Bly (Debbie) of Freeport, ME; and his sister-in-law Olympia Snowe (Jock McKernan) of Falmouth Foreside, ME. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
