He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burgess; his grandchildren, Jon, Sophie, Wyatt, Connor, Paige, Ella and Finley; and his brother Wayne Burgess. He is also survived by his family and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buford First United Methodist Church (285 E Main St, Buford, GA 30518). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation (https://www.kidney.org), in memory of Dwight.
